What safety measures are in place for wielding a lightsaber to prevent injury? Is there a specific mode that must be activated before using it?

As much as lightsabers capture our imagination with their elegant lethality, it's important to remember that they are fictional weapons and wielding them in real life would be incredibly dangerous, regardless of any safety measures.

Here's why:

Lightsabers, as depicted in fiction, can effortlessly cut through almost any material. This means accidental contact with anything, including yourself or others, would result in severe injury or even dismemberment. No safety measure could realistically prevent this inherent danger.
The intense heat generated by a lightsaber blade would cause immediate and severe burns on contact. Even if the blade itself didn't physically touch someone, the radiating heat could inflict significant harm.
The blinding light emitted by an activated lightsaber could cause temporary or permanent vision damage.
Therefore, there are no real-world safety measures that could effectively prevent injury from wielding a lightsaber.

While some fictional depictions might have lightsabers with training modes or safety features, these are purely imaginative elements and don't translate to any feasible technology we possess.
